One of the first apps you would look to install in your iPhone or iPod Touch would be a good weather app. The native weather app is nice but it lacks the details one might have gotten used to the weather relates sites.
I have tried and used many Weather iPhone apps but I have zeroed in on the Weatherbug Free iPhone App at the moment.

Weatherbug has a simple, intuitive and neat interface. After you set up the locations you are interested in checking weather for, you get a nice clean white interface showing the current conditions.
The main focus is on the the current temperature and the wind conditions. The first screen is devided into 3 sections if you looked at it. The top section showing the location can be swiped to the side to quickly switch locations (utpo 10 in free version).
The middle section showing current conditions can be tapped to get even more detailed information on the current data. And you will see an Alert in red under the current conditions if there were any active National Weather Service alerts.
The bottom section shows either tonight’s condition or tomorrows conditions and you can tap on it to see detailed forecast just like you hit th’Forecast‘ tab at the bottom.
The bottom tabs can take you to Conditions, Forecast, Maps, Video and Camera.
You can pinch and zoom in weather maps. You can also see daily national weather outlook video. Plus, you can see live weather conditions through cameras in your area. Plus, you can play most recent camera shots like a mini video of the conditions as well.
Weatherbug is available as Free ad supported version as well as a Weatherbug Elite ($0.99) version. Weatherbug Elite is completely ad free, has 6 additional map layers, unlimited saved locations, etc.
If you are looking for a good and capable weather app, Weatherbug will definitely fit the bill.
