SimplyTweet has been my favorite iPhone Twitter app. You can check out my SimplyTweet review here.
SimplyTweet is one of the premium iPhone Twitter apps with Push notifications enabled. It is feature-packed and hasn’t let me down ever since I started using it. The developer has been pretty active pushing out updates with new features as well as bug fixes.
SimplyTweet version 2.4 is now available in App Store with the following
- Allow forced refresh in content pickers
- When displaying photos from the result of photo search, the original tweet can now be opened.
- Add button to toggle scope search bar
- Change syntax of links appended from – saving couple of characters
- Multiple drafts – notes can also be used as drafts for tweets and DMs!
- Add support for configuring buttons on swipe menu
- Add favoriting button option to swipe menu
- Add retweet as option for swipe menu
- Add timestamp format d.M
- Add option to disable landscape mode
- When choosing to block/unblock account, there is now an option to report an account as spam
- Bug fixes
I am really looking forward to using the Multiple Drafts functionality. Plus, I am going to configure the swipe action to RT as I do a lot of that!
I know Tweetie iPhone twitter app gets a lot of coverage but SimplyTweet is one of those hidden gems in AppStore. You won’t be disappointed and you can read more about SimplyTweet features here.

Hey, Awesome blog you have here. I wanted to let you all know that I think Twitter is going to be one of the better networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter reveals some of it’s new features, returning traffic will increase to show the real growth of the network.
Anyway, I created a site that offerers great resources for Twitter that are 100% free, so come and visit and don’t be a stranger.
Keep up the good work!
